Paraffin wax is a by-product created by the refining of petroleum for gasoline. As paraffin burns, it emits toxins into the air, known as petro-carbon soot. These emissions have been found to be as harmful to humans as second-hand cigarette smoke.  Due to the fact that the odors of Aromatherapy products are meant to be inhaled in close quarters, paraffin candles pose the risk of contaminating and corrupting any health benefits they might offer even if they are scented with the best essential oils.

 Soy wax offers a clean-burning alternative to paraffin. It is an entirely vegetable based wax that is environmentally sound and healthy for your home.  There are a host of reasons to choose soy, and now you know!  The best reason, however, is that soy is the best value and the best product for YOU!
